1) Oshi tai oshi omote

Uke attacks with shomen uchi. At the same time, Tori slides forward with his right knee while pushing Uke’s arm to break his balance. Then, Tori steps forward with his left leg and pushes Uke to the mat, arms straight. For osae, Tori places Uke’s arm at a 90° angle and controls it using his knees placed at the armpit and wrist levels, respectively, the hands placed at the wrist and the elbow.
2) Tenkai oshi taiosho ura
Uke attacks with shomen uchi. Tori avoids the attack by sliding to the front / left direction while turning by 180°. Uke is pushed to the mat with a pivoting movement, Same control as in the first technique.
3) Oshi tai oshi gyakute dori kote hineri osae
Upon Uke’s attack, Tori slides forward with his right knee and pins him to the mat, same as in the first technique. Then Tori changes his grip to gyakute dori and places Uke’s arm at a 90° angle. Final position: Knees at the armpit and outside the wrist, respectively, hands on the elbow and wrist of Uke.
4) Tenkai oshi tai oshi gyakyute dori kote hineri ude hineri osae
Uke raises his arm for shomen uchi. At the same time, Tori comes to a tegatana contact with his own right hand and holds Uke’s wrist from below (gyakute dori). Then Tori slides backwards / left while pulling Uke’s arm towards his center line.
At this point, Tori grabs the wrist with his right hand in gyakute dori and places it at his left collar-bone level. He then applies a pressure on Uke’s wrist in order to pin him on the mat. Control is applied on Uke’s arm at vertical position, using the left arm to hold the wrist and the right hand to hold the elbow.
5) Oshi tai oshi junte dori kote hineri osae
Shomen uchi attack; Tori slides forward and controls Uke’s arm with his own arms straight, as in techniques 1 and 3. Once Uke is pinned on the mat, Tori changes the position of his hands: the left hand slides up towards the wrist, the right hand controls the elbow. Tori then places himself facing Uke (90° turn to the left) and applies a Kime on Uke’s wrist while turning his hips to the right.
6) Tenkai oshi tai osh junte dori kote hineri ude hineri osae
Shomen uchi attack. Tori immediately controls Uke’s arm and slides forward / left while making a 180° turn. Left hand controls the elbow, right hand the wrist (junte dori). Then Tori slides the left hand down to the wrist and pins Uke so he has to fall backwards.
Tori releases the right hand and forces Uke to lift up and fall forwards. The final control is an arm lock: Uke’s hand is controlled with the right hand, the elbow with the left forearm.
7) Oshi tai oshi tekubi osae
Shomen uchi attack. Uke is pinned on the mat in the same way as in the other Omote techniques (1, 3 and 5). For the final control, Tori places both hands on Uke’s wrist (junte dori, same as you hold a sword) and applies a Kime.
Tenkai oshi tai oshi tekubi osae
Shomen uchi attack. Tori avoids the attack by sliding to the front / left direction while turning by 180°. Tori controls the wrist and the elbow of Uke, then he also slides the left hand down to the wrist and pins Uke on the mat. The final control is identical to the previous technique.
