About
This is the blogsite for Central London Shodokan Aikido.

We are an Aikido Club/ Dojo/ School based in the Bloomsbury and Tottenham Court Road areas of London England.
Aikido: A mental and physical discipline with its roots in the martial traditions of feudal Japan. Derived from the fighting arts of the Samurai, both armed and unarmed.
One of the major branches of modern Aikido, first developed by Kenji Tomiki, a direct student of Morihei Ueshiba, the founder of Aikido, and Jigoro Kano, the founder of Judo.
Often in parts of the world Shodokan Aikido is refered to as Tomiki Aikido or Tomiki Ryu after the name of its founder. However Tomiki Sensei preferred his system to be known as Shodokan.
Please keep our site clean with your comments and keep training with all the heart you can muster!
